The York Cougar Bands from grades 6 through 12 have a continued tradition of excellence in performance, achievement, and community involvement. Students, as members of the YMS Band you will help continue this tradition and be a part of the future of the program while creating memories and gaining skills that will last a lifetime.  The YMS Band Program has consistently been receiving The Outstanding Performance Award (OPA) which is  the highest honor awarded to the most comprehensively high-achieving band programs in the state.
