The York Cougar Bands from grades 6 through 12 have a continued tradition of excellence in performance, achievement, and community involvement.  We are so excited that you are interested in being a part of the Cougar Band family!  Participating in band at YIS is only the beginning of a very rewarding and lifelong experience!  The 6th grade Beginner Band at YIS is comprised of students in their first year of playing an instrument.  We look forward to seeing these students grow and mature as individuals and young musicians throughout this year, and year to come.
